MCPBiH Public Invitation for Supporting
H2020, COST and EUREKA Applications
BH Ministry of Civil Affairs announced on 14 September 2017 a public
call for grants from the Program for Projects Preparation and Potential
Candidates for Funding from the H2020 Fund for 2017.
Institutions and individuals can apply for grants from ranging from
5000.00 to 30000.00 BAM. The deadline for applications is 5 October
2017.

Invitation to the Conference “Entrepreneurship and Business in Sports”
International Symposium “New Sports Technologies”
The UNSA Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, in cooperation
with the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the
University of Sarajevo’s support and co-financing by the Central
European Initiative, is pleased to invite you to participate in the
conference on “Entrepreneurship and Business in Sports “ in Sarajevo, as
a part of the International Symposium New Sports Technology 2017 that
takes place on 13 and 14 October 2017.
The overall goal of the conference is to raise awareness of the
benefits of entrepreneurship in sport, increase the level of innovation
and modernization in higher education, provide the latest information on
entrepreneurship in the European Union and its application in the EU
and EU candidate countries.
Seminar Invitation for Docents and PhD students in the Re@WBC project
Hereby we invite University of Sarajevo docents and PhDs students to
apply for participation in a two-day seminar that will be held at the
East Sarajevo University on September 15 and 16, 2017.
Seminars for young researchers will include lectures and workshops
on the following topics: project management, project proposals research,
intercultural communication, ethics in research and entrepreneurship.
The seminar will be organized as within the Erasmus+ Re@WBC project
Enhancement of HE research potential contributing to the further growth
of the WB region in which the University of Sarajevo participates in
order to improve the skills of young people from regional universities
regarding planning and conducting research, participation in research
projects, and the basics of entrepreneurship. The lecturers will be
experts from the partner universities in the project - the University of
Coventry and the University of Liege.
The working language is English and it will be attended by PhD
students and docents from the University of Sarajevo and Montenegro and
East Sarajevo Universities.
The deadline for application is Thursday, 13 July 2017, 2:00 pm. The number of participants is limited.

EUA Study on Research Capacities in the Western Balkans Countries Preparation Meetings
The European University Association (EUA) is currently conducting
research to make a study on the Western Balkans countries research
capacities within the SPHERE project financed by the European Commission
(SPHERE project- Support and Promotion for Higher Education Reform
Experts). The aim of the study is to gather information and opinions
from higher education representatives and research institutions in the
Western Balkans countries in order to provide the best possible support
for the regional research potential development.
Within the information collection activities for the mentioned
study, the University of Sarajevo was by visited Prof. Dr. Melita
Kovacevic, full professor at the University of Zagreb, as a EUA expert
on the project.
Professor Kovacevic met with the UNSA management representatives, Prof.
Dr. Izet Radjo, Vice-Rector for Research and academician Dejan
Milosevic, Chairman of the UNSA Council for Science and Art;
organizational unit management representatives and teachers, associates
and PhD candidates from our University.
The purpose of the meetings was to discuss and exchange views on the
support of scientific research activities and the development of
research potential at the UNSA.
