Cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Transparency International BiH

In the premises of the UNSA Rectorate on 17 January 2013 a meeting was held. During the meeting, activities regarding the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) were examined. The meeting attended Transparency International BiH representatives: Mr. Emir Dikic, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mrs. Ivana Korajlic, program manager, and UNSA management members: Rector, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic and Vice-Rector: Prof. Dr. Ugo Vlaisavljevic, Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic and Prof. Dr. Dzenan Djonlagic.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and Transparency International (TI BiH) was signed on 22 September 2011, and it defines the mechanisms and collaboration modes in area of prevention and fight against corruption and ensuring the integrity and quality of higher education. The UNSA Senate, on its Session of 27 December 2012 accepted the document by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science entitled "Measures for the Prevention of Corruption in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina" in whose producing the Transparency International BiH (TI BiH) took part.

During the meeting, the further steps of mutual collaboration in the area of making decree level acts relating to the prevention of corruption and principles of ethical committees at public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina were subject of discussion.
