Higher Education within SC Budget Draft for 2013

On Friday 8/2/2013 in accordance with Rulings of the UNSA Senate’s Emergency Session of 6/2/2013, Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic, together with Vice-Rectors: Prof. Dr. Dzenan Djonlagic, Prof. Dr. Ugo Vlaisavljevic and Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic; University Union Chairman, Prof. Dr. Berko Zecevic and UNSA Students’ Parliament President Ahmed Nurkovic, acquainted Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister, Cantonal Minister for Education, Science and Cantonal Minister Youth and Finances with implications of incommensurately high cutting of  allocation for higher education in Sarajevo Canton Budget Draft for 2013. 
In his address before the Sarajevo Canton Assembly during its 12th Session of 11/02/2013, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic, UNSA Rector pointed out the need for sealing an agreement on co-financing for the three to five years period, in which process the degree of founder’s participation within the University’s budget could not be the offered 46%.
