BENCHMARKING - Training Session

 

“BENCHMARKING - Theoretical Basics And Approach” Training Session



The first training session under the title of “Benchmarking - theoretical basics and approach” is scheduled to take place in the UNSA Rectorate’s premises on Tuesday 22 April 2014 at 13:00.

This training is being organized within the Benchmarking as a tool for improvement of higher education performance) - BIHTEK Tempus project. The goal of the project is the introduction of the benchmarking practices at eight public BH universities, in order to strengthen the quality management system and to establish a process of continuous higher education improvement in BiH. In order to strengthen the UNSA’s internal capacities, two training sessions have been planned. These sessions aim to create a “benchmarking community” at the University of Sarajevo, which would be composed of representatives UNSA members which are responsible for quality management interested in learning more about the benchmarking practices and to become a part of the “BiH benchmarking pilot project”. Participants of both training (on 22 April and 15 May 2014) will receive certificates of participation and an offer to participate in the University of Sarajevo’s benchmarking team.

The training program:
13:00 - 13:15     Introduction - presentation of trainers and participants (filling in a short questionnaire)
13:15 - 14:30     Benchmarking process - goals, results, stages and key success factors - Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolic
14:30 to 14:45     Coffee break
14:45 to 15:30     The process of benchmarking at BiH universities - Handbook presentation - Doc. Dr. Dusanka Boskovic
15:30 to 16:00     Work in groups – defining the benchmarking
16:00 to 16:15     Presentation of the work groups’ rollout
16:15 to 16:30     Conclusions and plans for the next training
