A Visit by Human Life Advancement Foundation Representatives
Representatives of the Human Life Advancement Foundation (HLAF) visited the UNSA Rectorate on Thursday, 17 April 2014, where UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic D. h. c. hosted them.
The Human Life Advancement Foundation (HLAF) is active in the fields of the education, technology transfer and sustainable development in with the goal of developing networks of organizations and individuals able and willing to contribute to the needs of society.
It also aspires to become a reference point for creation of knowledge, innovations and technology transfer.
During the meeting, possibilities of University of Sarajevo’s joining the HLAF Foundation Network were discussed and details concerning the signing a Memorandum of Understanding examined, as it would provide the support for the excellence in research. In addition, the Foundation representatives expressed the readiness to provide scholarships to talented UNSA PhD Candidates and postdoctoral studies participants.
This Foundation supports the important role of education in building the knowledge society. It also strives to be an innovative institution, which responds to the society’s needs for innovations, knowledge and technologies development providing the support for the interaction among the companies, academic community and public sector.
