The University of Sarajevo Hosts the 8th International Symposium “Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer“

On 2 September 2014, Academician Dr. Kemal Hanjalic, UNSA Professor emeritus and Prof. Dr. Ejub Dzaferovic, UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Dean visited UNSA Rectorate, where Rector, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic Dr.h.c. received them.

The topic of the meeting was the organization of the 8th International Symposium “Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer“ planned to take place at the University of Sarajevo from 15 to 18 September 2015.

This triennial symposium will be held in Sarajevo after those in Lisbon (1994), Delft (1997), Nagoya (2000), Antalya (2003), Dubrovnik (2006), Rome (2009) and Palermo (2012). The organization of this symposium will provide a new opportunity for engineers and scientists to present and discuss current problems, future needs and prospects concerning the turbulence, heat and mass transfer. Major topics and new trends will be presented through several keynote lectures to be presented by internationally recognized experts.
