“Rethinking the Culture of Tolerance - The New Challenges of the European Integration Process” Summer School

The University of Milan Bicocca, the University of Sarajevo and the University of East Sarajevo from 15 to 21 September 2014 are organizers the first summer school entitled “Rethinking the Culture of Tolerance.” The University of East Sarajevo will host the first edition of the school “Rethinking the Culture of Tolerance - The New Challenges of the European Integration Process.”
The opening ceremony is scheduled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of East Sarajevo’s hall on 15 September at 9:00. Representatives of participating universities, mayors of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo and some lecturers will address the attendees. Representatives of embassies in B&H, deans of member institutions of the University of Sarajevo and the University of East Sarajevo will be there too.
The school is intended for students of master's and doctoral studies, postdoctoral students and researchers at all three universities. In the work of the school, 35 candidates (20 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 15 from Italy, the Western Balkans and other EU countries) will participate. The lectures and workshops will be held in the University of East Sarajevo’s Administrative Office, and a school day at the UNSA Faculty of Political Sciences.
Certificates awarding ceremony and closing of the school will take place in the University of East Sarajevo’s Administrative Office on Saturday, 20 September 2014.
The Embassy of the Republic of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina is the official sponsor of this Summer School.
The project will last for three years, where each of participating universities will host one summer school's edition.
