Prof. Dr. Jasmina Talam, Tempus InMusWB coordinator, said that it was the first Tempus project in the field of art, which had been launched with the aim of developing an interdisciplinary approach in higher education in the field of music. The project brought together 18 partner academies, cultural organizations and professional associations from five EU countries (Austria, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovenia and the Czech Republic), and three Western Balkans countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo), including the University of Sarajevo Music Academy. Professor Talam noted that the Music Academy participates in the project with a number of activities related to the improvement of existing and deployment of new and modernization of existing study programs.

“By participating in this important project, the Music Academy has confirmed its status as the oldest and most important musical institutions of higher education in the country, and achieved the status of a serious partner in any future European projects from the field of arts and science,” said Professor Talam.
