The Fifth Scholarships Fair

This year the UNSA’s International Cooperation Department also organizes the Scholarship Fair in Sarajevo. The Fair will be held at the UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, (Vilsonovo setaliste Str., 9) on 16 October 2014 from 10:00 to 17:00.

The Scholarships Fair is a unique event in Bosnia and Herzegovina aiming to gather all institutions that award and/or administer scholarships or grant other types of financial support for studies in BiH and abroad. The event also helps those institutions in presenting their scholarship programs and financial support and provides an opportunity for BH students to get information in once place about opportunities studying abroad.

Twenty-seven institutions have registered for participating in the Fifth Scholarships Fair so far.  They will present various forms of financial support (scholarships, one-time financial assistance, loans, etc...) for BH citizens to study in country and abroad (governmental and non-governmental organizations, diplomatic consular offices, CCIs, local communities, international institutions, cultural centers, etc). Due to the previous organization, the Scholarships Fair has gained the status of event that promotes the expansion and encourages the students, teachers and staff mobility both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.

The chief organizer of the event is the UNSA’s International Cooperation Department, while the partners are the King Baudouin Foundation from Belgium, UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Stipendije.ba portal as the media partner.

The UNSA’s International Cooperation Department will present at the Fair the Erasmus Mundus program and its associated projects that enable the exchange of students, teachers and staff between the University of Sarajevo and EU partner universities (more at www.erasmus-unsa.ba). The University of Sarajevo is the only regional university that has participated in the previous 15 projects Erasmus Mundus programs. Therefore, this Fair will be an opportunity for presenting four newly approved projects (SIGMA, EUROWEB +, GREENTECH and SUNBEAM) and two existing ones (JoinEU-SEE PENTA and ERAWEB).
