A Visit by the Faculty of Food Sciences and Agriculture Representatives
A meeting between UNSA Management members: Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic, Dr. h. c., Rector, Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic, Vice-Rector and Mr. Samir Arnautovic, student Vice-Rector and members of the newly elected UNSA Faculty of Food Sciences and Agriculture management: Prof. Dr. Zlatko Saric, Dean and Vice-Deans Prof. Dr. Pakeza Drkenda, Prof. Dr. Drena Gadzo and Prof. Dr. Muhamed Brka was held in the UNSA Rectorate’s premises on Wednesday, 15 October 2014.
During the meeting, the Faculty of Food Sciences and Agriculture representatives presented the activities planned for the coming period that should improve the quality of teaching and learning process. Dean Saric also presented the results of the Faculty of Food Sciences and Agriculture representatives’ visit to related Faculties in Turkey. On that occasion the visits to the Ege University, University in Bursa, “Suleyman Demirel” University of Isparta and the “Namik Kemal” University in Tekirdag were organized, during which ways of exercising academic cooperation in the framework of exchange programs “Mevlana” Erasmus + were discussed, including the joint participation in projects and scientific conferences organizing. In the next period, all activities will be taken for preparing relevant administrative procedures needed for reaching agreements between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey that would enable the University of Sarajevo’s accessing to the Turkish Council for Scientific and Technological Research (TUBITAK) programs.
The Turkish Council of Scientific and Technological Research is the leading agency for management, funding and conduct of research established in 1963 with the goal of making advancement in the science and technology and researchers support.
