The UNSA’s International Cooperation Department is the organizer of the 5th Scholarships Fair.
The Fifth Scholarships Fair was held on the UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on 16 October 2014 and opened by addresses delivered by Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic, UNSA Vice-Rector and Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Vice-Dean. The uniqueness of this event in Bosnia and Herzegovina was pointed out – aiming to bring together all institutions that award and or administer scholarships or other types of financial support for studying in BiH and abroad and to help them in presenting their scholarship programs and financial support. The event also provides an opportunity to BH students to get information about studying abroad in one place. The ultimate aim of organizing this Fair is to coordinate actions of the actors in the higher education area in order to contribute to creating of better society.
29 institutions participated at the Fifth Scholarships Fair that presented to numerous visitors various forms of financial support (scholarships, one-time financial assistance, loans, etc..) for studying in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad (governmental and non-governmental organizations, diplomatic and consular offices, civil initiatives centers, local communities, international institutions, cultural centers, etc..).

Sarajevo, sRCE, Embassy of Hungary in Bosnia and University of Sarajevo - Erasmus Mundus.
The UNSA’s International Cooperation Department presented at the Fair the Erasmus Mundus program and its associated projects that enable the exchange of students, teachers and staff between the University of Sarajevo and EU partner universities (more at www.erasmus-unsa.ba). The University of Sarajevo is the only regional university that has participated in the previous 19 projects Erasmus Mundus programs. Therefore, this Fair was an opportunity for presenting four newly approved projects (SIGMA, EUROWEB +, GREENTECH and SUNBEAM) and two existing ones (JoinEU-SEE PENTA and ERAWEB) where UNSA students, teachers and faculty members may apply in 2015/2016 academic year.
The chief organizer of the Fifth Scholarships Fair is the UNSA International Cooperation Department, while the partners are the King Baudouin Foundation from Belgium, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, and Stipendije.ba portal as a media partner.
Due to the successful organization of previous Fairs, the Scholarships Fair has gained the status of event that promotes the expansion and encourages the students, teachers and staff mobility in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
