EUSAIR Launched

The official launching of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian region (EUSAIR) took place at the conference that had been held in Bruxelles, Belgium  on 18 November 2014. The conference was organized by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union in collaboration with the European Commission, the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative chaired by Bosnia and Herzegovina at the moment, and the Italian region Marche. Representatives of states and EU institutions, representatives of national and regional authorities in charge of  EUSAIR’s implementation and EU funds management and other stakeholders  attended the conference.

Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic, Dr.h.c. in his capacity of  UNIADRION Chairman attended the conference. The University of Sarajevo is UNIADRION presiding institution from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.
