In the 2014/2015 academic year, the University of Sarajevo secured the rights to participate in all approved projects of the Erasmus Mundus program Action II last round. Thus, the University of Sarajevo has remained the only Western Balkans institution participating in all 19 previous Erasmus Mundus projects since 2008. SIGMA, Euroweb, SUNBEAM and GreenTech are new projects. Additionally, the competition calls for JoinEU-SEE PENTA (the second round) and ERAWEB were made, resulting in 6 Erasmus Mundus projects. Therefore, the Bologna students from all three cycles, including the ante-Bologna students, the UNSA faculty members have been given the opportunity to study and do the research work at 55 universities in EU member states.

During December this year and January of the following one, the competition calls for submitting mobility scholarship applications will be ongoing. The UNSA International Cooperation Department will consequently organize an Info Day in the UNSA Rectorate on 3 December 2014, starting at 12:00. The SIGMA project coordinator will attend the event and introduce the project related details to interested parties.
