Support Office for Students with Special Needs Evaluation

Mr. Herbert Loicht from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Mrs. M.Sc. Carolina Madeleine from the University of Alicante visited the University of Sarajevo on 26 November 2014, in relation to the Tempus project “Equal Opportunities for Students With Special Needs in Higher Education” and the project activity 5.2 - Mid-term and final internal evaluation.

The visit was organized with the goal of evaluating the Support Office for Students with Special Needs. A meeting between the evaluators and UNSA Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic, project coordinator Prof. Dr. Adila Pasalic-Kreso was also organized. During the meeting, activities implemented so far within the project were discussed, as well as the plans for the Office.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Support Office for Students with Special Needs at the University of Sarajevo, which is located at the Faculty of Philosophy. During the visit, evaluators talked about the ways of Office’s functioning with Assistant, Mirna Markovic-Pavlovic, Office coordinator.
