H.E. Ambassador Mishra delivered a lecture on the topic “India in the Contemporary World”, during which he presented his country, its development throughout history, religions, ancient civilizations, cultural heritage, the course of independence after winning the independence from the British Empire in 1947. The discussion also focused on the Indian progress in various sectors such as education, IT, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, manufacturing, defense and medical tourism. The presentation provided information on various initiatives for the overall development of India's newly elected Government, led by Mr. Narendra Modi.

In the lecture, H.E. Ambassador Mishra commented on the role of India as an emerging world power in the 21st century, and gave an insight into the Incredible India and presented its importance and contribution to the world we are living in.

“Asia is growing into the center of economic, spiritual and developmental power. The economy in India is developing rapidly. India is becoming a significant player in the global market“, said Ambassador Mishra. He also added that India is a leader in the IT sector, software development, and biotechnology. He invited people in BiH attend some of the world famous Indian human resources management training courses, which are funded by the Indian government. Ambassador Mishra pointed out to the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina that he wants to transfer the success of India's expansion and economic miracle, in order to motivate them to go alone in the intensive development of their economy by using Indian knowledge and experience.
