The Fifth International Congress on “Islamic Civilization in the Balkans”

The Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) and the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  are jointly organizing the fifth international congress on the topic “Islamic Civilization in the Balkans” to be held in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia-Herzegovina, on 21-23 May 2015.

The congress aims to maintain and further enhance the scholarly exchanges that were established among specialists and researchers of the field during the previous congresses that were held respectively in Sofia (2000), Tirana (2003), Bucharest (2006) and Skopje (2010).
