The final meeting of the Tempus Project Equal Opportunities for Students with Special Needs in Higher Education (EQOPP) was held at the University of Sarajevo on Friday, 20 March 2015. The project had been coordinated by the University of Sarajevo. The goal of the project, which ends on 14 April 2015, is the establishment of support offices for students with special needs at all public universities in BiH. During the meeting, the project activities had been carried out within the project were discussed and special attention dedicated to the established offices, their future and sustainability within the university system and the further development. BH partners reported actual project results, the work of offices during the project run, while EU partners reported the external evaluation of quality of established offices.
All partners agreed that the project was successfully implemented and the main objective achieved - in this case being the establishment of fully operating offices that can provide services adequate services to its users. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Faruk Mekic, UNSA Vice-Rector and Dr. Adila Pasalic-Kreso, UNSA professor emeritus thanked the partners for their hard work, dedication and successful cooperation. The particular gratitude went to the EU partners for their generous support as well as for sharing rich experience in establishing and operating their offices.
