Internationalization and Erasmus + in the Western Balkans Workshop

The joint workshop for partner universities participating in the Basileus, JoinEU-SEE PENTA, Sigma and Sunbeam projects was held within the Erasmus Mundus program in Zagreb, Croatia from 25 to 27 March 2015. The subject of the workshop, hosted by the University of Zagreb, was “Internationalization and Erasmus+ in the Western Balkans”.

At the workshop, the transition process from the Erasmus Mundus program to the Erasmus+ was discussed, and how the partner universities in the EU member states and Western Balkan countries face changes and challenges of the new program. During the workshop, previous experiences of partners were discussed, regarding the organization of the International Cooperation Offices, concluding bilateral agreements processes, defining the strategy of internationalization, creating software for academic mobility monitoring, promotion of academic mobility, as well as the experience of foreign students and faculties from Western Balkans partner universities.
