IEEE Room Escape

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Sarajevo Student Branch organizes an event called IEEE Room Escape. This event is the first project of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will be realized at the UNSA Faculty of Electrical Engineering on 10 October 2015, as part of celebrating the IEEE 2015 Day. The IEEE Day is the anniversary of the first gathering of engineers and IEEE members with the goal of sharing their experience, ideas and research papers. The subject of this year's celebration is “Using Technology for a Better Tomorrow” and, in that respect, all over the world association members gather in their local communities to contribute the development of technology by preparing workshops, seminars and projects and to enhance their knowledge.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest professional association founded in 1884 that brings together over 400 000 engineers from around the world. The IEEE Sarajevo University Student Branch is a part of the IEEE umbrella associations and brings together ambitious students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. During its work, the IEEE Student Branch organized a number of projects with particular emphasis on “Solar Tree”, professional visits to companies “BeENG” and “RoboStart” robotic workshop.
