The University of Sarajevo hosts in 2015/2016 academic year students, faculty members and administrative personnel from partner universities abroad. Those guests visit the University of Sarajevo through Erasmus Mundus, CEEPUS, Mevlana exchange programs and bilateral agreements.
For the seventh year, the International relations Department has been organizer of the orientation program in order to familiarize foreign students, teachers and personnel with our university, its history, traditions, culture and customs of our city and country, and to provide them with the necessary academic and practical information for their comfortable stay.
During the Herzegovina trip, foreign students, teachers and personnel visited the old town Pocitelj, Blagaj Tekke, Kravica Waterfall and the city of Mostar. Afterwards they visited Tuzla and enjoyed in beauties of this town, especially the old center, the Pannonian Lake and Solni trg. The visit to the Srebrenica-Potocari Memorial Complex was organized where foreign students, teachers and personnel paid tribute to the victims of the genocide committed in July 1995. The Memorial Complex curator held a lecture, after which foreign students, teachers and assistants visited the memorial room, located in the former battery factory and attended the screening of a documentary film about the suffering of Srebrenica Bosniaks in 1995.
