At the UNSA Conference Hall on Wednesday 21 December 2016, within celebrating the 67th Anniversary of the University of Sarajevo a joint promotion of the publication of the UNSA scientific institutes was organized.

Directors and representatives of the Institutes presented at the ceremony the activities and the development of publishing activities and publications - books and magazines representing an important contribution to their continuous operating, which were done in the past period.

UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Skrijelj opened the event and said “We are all very happy and impressed as research institutes maintain continuity in publishing activities, by publishing scientific and technical periodicals. As you all know, this task is not easy in the present time, especially if we consider the times our entire community is going through. Scientific Institutes invest endeavors to record scientific creativity of scientists working at Institutes.”

Prof. Dr. Naris Pojskic, Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Director presented ten publications that were published by his Institute. Dr. Senija Milisic, Institute for History Director referred to the publishing activities and publications of the Institute, giving a chronological overview of the most significant periods. Director of the Language Institute, Dr. Alen Kalajdzija presented publications resulting from four editions. Dr. Adnan Kadric, Oriental Studies Institute Director spoke about the importance of publishing activities of his Institute and publications that were made in the context of those activities. Research fellow of the Institute for Research of Crimes against Humanity and International Law, Dr. Meldijana Arnaut-Haseljic in her speech presented rich publishing activities and latest editions of that Institute.
