Cooperation between University of Sarajevo and University of Pecs
The delegation from the University of Pecs consisting of Dr. József Bódis, Rector, Dr. Gyula Zeller,Vice-Rector for Connections and Strategic Affairs, Dr. Tamás Decsi, Clinical Center Director, Dr. István Szilárd, Faculty of Medicine Vice Dean, Department of Operational Medicine Head, Dr. Gabriella Medvegy, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies Vice Dean, Dr. Eva Mikes, Administration and Self-Government of Pécs representative, City Development Institute Director, Csaba Ruzsa, University of Pécs Strategic Department Head visited the University of Sarajevo on Thursday, 27 February 2017.
Dr. Dominika Horvat, economy advisor at the Hungarian Embassy in BiH also attended the meeting.
UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Skrijelj welcomed guests with the following UNSA representatives - Vice-Rectors: Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolic, Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, Prof. Dr. Aida Hodzic and Prof. Zijad Mehic, Dr. Sebija Izetbegovic KCUS General Director, Prof. Dr. Almira Hadzovic-Dzuvo, Faculty of Medicine Dean and Prof. Dr. Dzenana Bijedic, full professor at the Faculty of Architecture.
The academic cooperation agreement between the University of Sarajevo and University of Pecs was signed in 2014. During the meeting two delegations discussed the possibilities of improving interuniversity cooperation in the areas of science and research. Exchange of students, faculty members, and organization of joint academic and scientific activities received special attention.
