Potočari Memorial Center
 
Students from five BH universities - Sarajevo, Tuzla, Mostar, Zenica and Bihac participated today in the cleaning up tombstones at the Srebrenica-Potocari in the project to raise awareness about the Srebrenica genocide and appropriate memorialization and working with younger generations about understanding the importance of dealing with the past and preventing genocide in the future.
In the project entitled “Cleaning the Memorial Center Srebrenica-Potočari- Youth Day” carried out by the Association Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa and the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide also participated UNSA Student Parliament (SPUS). On this occasion, SPUS President Mr. Merim Serdarević said that he and his colleagues were proud to had the opportunity to participate in this project.
Within the organized cleaning of white tombstones, students had the opportunity to meet survivors of war and participate in history class.
