FASTO Team Conquered Maglic
The team from the UNSA Faculty of Sports and Physical Education conquered the peak of the Mountain Maglic on Saturday, 8 July 2017. The team that successfully climbed consisted of Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, UNSA Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Nermin Nurkovic, Doz. Dr. Amel Mekic, Doz. Dr. Eldin Jeleskovic and Mr. Sci. Ismir Jusko, Minister of Transport and Communications of BiH.
Maglic is a Dinamarine mountain on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro about 20 km southwest of Foca. The highest peak of the mountain is Veliki Vitao (2,396 meters) in Montenegro, while on the Bosnian side of the mountain, the highest peak is Maglic at 2,386 meters above sea level. There is also Perucica, the largest rainforest in Europe, and the large Urdeni dolovi with the Trnovacko jezero at 1,517 meters.
