Coke Summership 2017 Completed

The second generation of trainees successfully completed the Coca-Cola summer practice program

The Coca-Cola summer practice program Coke Summership 2017 was completed on 26 September 2017. At the final event, program participants and Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo mentors presented the project results they worked on and shared the impressions gained during the six-month practice.

The Coke Summership summer practice program is a unique combination of lectures, interactive workshops and trainings, as well as fieldwork and practical activities with mentors on real Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo projects. Encouraged by the results of last year's opening Coca-Cola Summership after which thirteen trainees were employed, six of them in Coca-Cola HBC BH Sarajevo and seven in partner and other companies, Summership was continued this year with the goal of empowering young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina by providing them with the first post-graduate work experience.

For more than 40 years of operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Coca-Cola has strived and worked in various ways to contribute to the social development. Therefore, the support and empowerment of young people is one of the priorities in the community engagement.

The Coke Summership project is being implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Employment Office and the Public Employment Institute of Sarajevo Canton, and with the support of friends of the project: Universities in Sarajevo, Banja Luka Tuzla, Mostar, Vitez, International Burch University, Faculties of Economics in Sarajevo, Bihac, Tuzla and east Sarajevo, student organizations EESTEC, IAESTE LC Sarajevo, Students Association of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Tuzla, BEST Student Association from Mostar and portal studomat.ba.
