Dear colleagues,

We’d like to inform you that a concert entitled “Honoring the Great Ones” will be held in the National Theater of Sarajevo on 20 October 2017. The event will bring together the most famous opera names along with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the opera champion duo: Amila Baksic and Ivica Saric. This concert will be held in honor of Pasa Gackic, a University of Sarajevo Music Academy professor and former Sarajevo Opera director.
The significance of this concert is that all income from the tickets sale will be donated for gravely ill Pasa Gackic’s whose treatment requires a large sum of money that goes beyond the her ability. Now is the time, as many times so far, that we, as an academic community, show that solidarity is our tradition and our readiness to provide concrete material assistance and adequate treatment I these difficult moments, through which our distinguished professor goes through.
Ticket prices are: 20, 30 and 40 BAM.
