The UNSA International Relations Office organized the 8th Scholarships Fair that was held at the UNSA Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on 19/10/2017. UNSA Rector, Prof. Dr. Rifat Skrijelj opened the Fair stating that if one look at the organization of similar fairs in the region, he could see that their success is backed by the state or state structures’ support. “However” he added “in our country, the academic community’s need for organizing scholarships fair has launched this event, so the University of Sarajevo has been driving force and implementing organizer of this event for the eighth time”
He also reminded that in 1965 University of Sarajevo had signed the first international cooperation agreement with renowned “Ernst Moritz Arndt” University in Greifswald, Germany. “Today, representatives of 14 universities from abroad and altogether representatives of 17 countries are present with us, which speaks enough about the importance of internationalization in which the University of Sarajevo is very active, as well as raising awareness of promoting academic and administrative mobility, where this fair become our University’s brand.” He also added.

In addition to the standard Fair’s activities, at this year's one Erasmus+ partners from the University of Sarajevo held their presentations, presenting their institutions, study programs and scholarship offers during the presentations.
