Call for Participation in 4th Conference on Higher Education Reform, at the University of Sarajevo on Theme
“Development of Systems of Quality Management in Higher Education”

In the period of April 16th to April 17th, 2010, the University of Sarajevo organizes the 4th Conference on Higher Education Reform, taking place at the University of Sarajevo, on theme “Development of Systems of Quality Management in the Area of Higher Education”. The Conference aims at informing and educating the employees and students of the University of Sarajevo, on the importance of Quality Management in the area of higher education. The Quality Management stands for one of the key preconditions for the institutional accreditation of universities, and effective harmonization of our higher education system with the European one.

The first Conference day will be held at the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Machine Engineering’s Amphitheatre, while the second day will be organized by groups at the following faculties:
1) Group of Medical Sciences: Faculty of Dental Medicine’s Amphitheatre
2) Group of Technical Sciences: mutual Amphitheater of the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Civic Engineering
3) Group of Social Sciences: Faculty of Economics’ Amphitheater
4) Group of Humanities: Teacher Training College
5) Group of Natural and Mathematic and Biotechnical Sciences:  Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences’ Amphitheater
6) Group of Arts: The Ceremonial Hall of the University of Sarajevo’s Rectorate

As you are familiar with, the last year’s Conference gathered cca 600 professors, associates, students and other academic and non – academic University of Sarajevo’s staff. Large number of representatives of other universities from B&H and the region, representatives of Federal ministries of Education, as well as representatives of international and NGOs related to the sector of higher education, was noticeable.
